About the Troland

Troland is a game developed by combining many top-class IPs and NFT cards, and possesses a huge number of potential gamers. Introduction on Troland Cards

In the game settings of Troland, there are 110 types of cards in total. Each type corresponds to a character in Troland with its own unique story and skills. Cards have levels from 1 to 10, and a higher level comes with higher rarity. KAKA Troland card game relies on blockchain technology to accomplish its non-inflation and rarity control. Each single card is bonded to a blockchain based crypto token (ERC-1155) which identifies card type and quantity of each holder. Therefore, counterfeiting and fraud behaviors are prevented. The total supply of game cards is 512,611,000, a portion of which will be burned in the process of online game battles matches, thus the circulating quantity will decrease gradually.

ERC-721: non-fungible token, and requires a new smart contract for each new token (e.g. mint a CryptoKitties token and mint another CryptoCuties token)
ERC-1155: both fungible and non-fungible, it allows semi-fungible tokens, e.g. fungible tokens can be “converted” into non-fungible tokens, vice versa. A single smart contract may contain countless types of tokens.

Battles in Troland

When entering a game, players select 5 cards from his or her warehouse. Except that only one card of level 8,9 or 10 can be used in a match, other cards have no limit. Players come into the game interface and the system matches a battle. Then, a first taker is chosen randomly and places one card into the 3x3 Arena. There are four core numbers on the left top of each card which are compared to other numbers of adjacent counterpart cards. Players compete by comparing core numbers, which determines if one could flip the component’s card.

Four numbers correspond to East, South, West, North four directions respectively, implying multilateral wars in the Troland world. Notably, core numbers do not decide the result absolutely. The latter card with a larger core number can turn the adjacent card over into its own color. When all nine positions are taken, the player with more cards in his or her color wins the game. After the battle, the winner can arbitrarily select two cards from the defeated player’s five battling cards as rewards, and the smart contract randomly burns two of the remaining three cards. Finally, the left one card is returned to the defeated player. It can be calculated that 20% of cards will be burned because of card battles each lasting for minutes. Thus, Troland cards have a typical fast-deflation model. The battle burning mechanism will not cease until the total supply of cards is below 21,000,000. Insurance items are introduced as the additional element of public beta. Players can choose one card to protect with the insurance item. That means, it protects the card from being picked by the winner at the end of the game. The insurance item is consumed after each battle.

Play-to-Earn Mining Game Troland

In Troland, gaming is mining. According to the rules, the defeated party not only gives up two cards to the winner but also deprived two cards to burn by the system, and these two cards burned are converted into platform rewards points to be awarded to both players as battle bonus. Battle mining bonus is calculated based on the official repurchase prices of these two burned cards which is then converted into platform rewards points.

If platform rewards points rise remarkably, the cards lost may not be regarded as a loss but rather earn more profits. A delicate market effect emerges at this moment, that is the relative tension between price of cards and that of platform points. Therefore, players can battle without any worry. Because even if you lose, you may rather win more platform points which probably will bring you huge profits when the price rises.

Mining rewards rate depends on platform point price in the second market, KAKA card levels, and auto-burned cards etc. Therefore, the rewards points allocated to players are also floating and volatile. The system will adjust value conversion taking game battle time into consideration, then the market fluctuates, the value could be deviated.

Roadmap

Troland is an easy-to-begin game and is friendly to players of all ages. No barriers though, there exists potential complicated tactics under the surface of simple rules. Troland launched its first private beta on June 28th and the second private beta on July 30th. These two private betas have been completed successfully. The first offline game competition was held on August 30th in Shenzhen, China. Later on, multi-region game offline competitions will be held, along with live shows shedding light on NFT card game rules and economic model, metaverse definitions, and social experiments. Troland public beta test was launched in early September and is still live for all participants to join.

IP Series Card Details

KAKA IP NFTs except Troland card packs are minted based on ERC-721 protocol. All ERC-721 based cards are required to be decomposed before participating in battles. Detailed rules will be released when the game is launched online.

July 5th: Saint Seiya IP was released on KAKA as the third IP. The card level is not determined yet, and the online sales channel is still not open.

July 6th: Troland card packs released with a total of 110 characters mapped to level 1–5 cards. Currently, these are cards supported by Troland game battles, and a sales channel is open on KAKA official mall. Corresponding NFTs were minted based on ERC-1155.

July 8th: B.Boy Hero series, mascot of Conflux Network was released on KAKA as the fourth IP. The B.Boy Hero series mystery boxes contain 11 unique types of B.Boy Heroes mapped to Troland level 6 cards. Now sales on MoonSwap which is a Conflux Network based DEX.

July 21st: KAKA Chan Aya series mystery boxes sales with 7 unique characters, levels to be determined. This round of sales innovated with KAKA mystery box reopen function. KAKA Metaverse Key holders can reopen mystery boxes and have a chance to conceal characters with high rarity which have more potential value than others. In the official store repurchase channel, those special cards have a repurchase price over normal 20% off its issue price, and the highest repurchase price may exceed the issuance price. Mystery boxes of this round were sold out on the issuance day.

July 12th: One Piece joined as the fifth IP, with 20 characters in total was released on BakerySwap platform. Advanced mystery box reopen function with a highest repurchase price 10 times the issuance price. The FOMO prize pool was open at the same time, where users can reopen and share the prize pool to earn more profits.

August 25th: 30,012 KAKA game hybrid mystery boxes were sold out in seconds on Binance NFT, with multiple IPs respectively and are divided into four grades.

Grade SSR — -KAKA Rabbit NFT card: KAKA Rabbit is the advanced edition of the most popular crypto avatars, and it contains 20 unique characters with Metaverse key attributes.

Grade SR — -KAKA SGF NFT card: No character and no specific level yet. It supports mystery box reopen and prize pool. The first 10 users who collect the full set can win a 1,000 USDT cash prize.

Grade R — -KAKA China NFT card: No character and no specific level yet. It supports mystery box reopen and prize pool. The first 30 users who collect the full set can win a 1,000 USDT cash prize.
